PICA is hosting a special work day
a the Homeless Garden Project Farm! The HGP is a fantastic non-profit
in Santa Cruz that connects food systems and job opportunities for
homeless men and women in our area. We will be working on their farm
and enjoying a delicious lunch together after!
When!? Saturday,
May 19th
from 10am-2pm
Where!? The
Homeless Garden Project Farm on
Shaffer Road Cross St. Delaware Santa Cruz, CA 95060 (by Natural
Bridges and the Seymour Center at Long Marine Laboratory).
Transportation!?There
are many ways we can get to the farm together. Some may meet at the
SLC by 9:15am and bike, take the 20, or go by car. Which ever you
prefer, just let me know!
