Join PICA in volunteering at the Homeless Garden Project. We will be helping out with various projects in their organic garden!
When: Saturday May 31st at 10:30am
Where: Natural Bridges Homeless Garden. You can catch the 20 bus leaving from Bay and High at 9:40am or Science Hill at 9:50am
What: A group of volunteers created the Homeless Garden Project in 1990 to provide a place of safety, beauty, and work opportunities for people who were homeless. Today they provide a bounty of activities at their 2.5 acre organic garden, attracting a wide variety of individuals living in Santa Cruz County.
The Homeless Garden is hosting this special volunteer day just for PICA, and we would love to get a huge group of people down there helping them out!
